The Sacraments of Marriage and Holy Orders
This page, like the title says is about the sacraments of Marriage and Holy Orders. Both are sacraments of joining and so are related.

The Sacrament of Marriage:

In this sacrament, a man and a woman pledge themselves to each other for life in mutual self-giving. It is not the kind of love that bursts one moment and then disipates totally in the next. No, this type of love is unconditional in which you love your partner at all times in "good times and in bad." The marriage should provide a good environment for the children that will perhaps be introduced into the family sooner or later. The home that they prepare should be appropriate for bringing up a child so that it too can be capable of the love that the parents have. The marriage itself is actually a triangle of love between God, the husband, and the wife. The home should be full of love and God's presence so that visitors will feel welcomed and warm in the knowledge that God's presence is there.
"With gratitude in your hearts sing psalms and hymns and inspired songs to God; and never say or do anything except in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God the Father through him." (Col. 3, 16-17)
The Sacrament of Holy Orders:

The Sacrament of Holy Orders is the ceremony where priests and nuns are inducted into the order of their choice. Christ came here proclaiming peace and happiness in God and if all would believe they would find love. But Christ had to die and so there had to be a way to keep the message alive. So at the last supper, there were two sacraments established, that of the Holy Eucharist and that of the priesthood that would keep his message alive.
